We've located an OUTSTANDING camping location at Harbor View RV Resort (Thousand Trails) for the OMG Benefit Ride (only 10 miles/15 mins from start/end point). We can camp on Friday and Saturday if you chose. They have a large area for us to put up tents, campers, and RVs. You can have a spot that’s with or without hook ups. And the prices are sick! These are prices exclusively for the OMG benefit Ride.
- With Hook ups: $30 (can accommodate 1 large RV/camper and 1 tent or 2-3 tents depending on size)
- Without Hookups: $15 (RV/campers are welcome. You have to provide your own electric and water)
They have 2 bath houses there also so you can clean up before you head to the Beach for the ride.
The best part is that there is so much room that there’s no limit to the amount of tents/RV/Campers we can fit. If we get a large crowd, we talked her into lighting a huge bonfire for us. See the pics below.
If you plan on camping (or glamping) contact Linda Brubaker at 804-224-8164 to let them know that you will be there (so they will know roughly how many to expect). Make sure you tell them that you are with the Combat Vets Benefit. These prices are for support of this ride.
