I believe this was one of those carnival music maker things. The title comes from the "lifetime" guarantee cast into the frame. Again another classic bit of history corrodes to dust. An internet search turned up nothing.
I believe that may be a part piano probably from the 1800s or early 1900s. Henry Linderman died in the early 1900s and they only continued making pianos with his name for a few years after that.

Hey Lucky, at first I thought it was a piano too but there are other groups of strings on the frame not shown in the photo. Possibly some sort of player piano. In any event it is a shame.
