Mount Pleasant, SC – Brukus Motorcycle Parts®, LLC has developed a locking system for Harley-Davidson’s stock saddlebags on their Road King Custom and Screaming Eagle models. Previously, lack of ability to lock these bags was forcing owners to purchase expensive custom locking saddlebags, replacing the stock bags, in order to secure their valuables. But Brukus has solved that problem.
SaddlebagSecure™ Combi-Lock utilizes the back push-button opening and replaces that with a Patent Pending combination locking system. The 2 individual locks are marked for which side of the bike they are installed on (left/right; clutch side/brake side). Installation instructions are simple but Brukus has also produced an instructional video to walk you through the process step by step. Once installed, the combination is easily set and there are no keys to worry about.
Included with the Combi-Lock system are 2 custom Security Brackets for the front latches of the saddlebags. The locks are on the back of the saddlebags on these models so that leaves the front latch vulnerable to be pried open with a screwdriver. But Brukus has worked to make sure the bags are locked up tight with the addition of this bracket. You can combine the Combi-Lock with the SaddlebagSecure™ attachment system for added security.
