Dont know if this has been put out there before, but it is, well you all decide......
One bitterly cold winter's day a police patrolman came across a motorcyclist, who was swathed in protective clothing and helmet, stalled by the roadside. "What's the matter?" asked the policeman.
"Carburetor's frozen. " was the terse reply.
"Pee on it. That'll thaw it out." replied the officer.
"I can't." replied the rider.
"OK, watch and I'll show you." replied the officer.
The officer lubricated the carb, and as promised, the bike started and the rider drove off waving. A few days later, the chief constable recieved a note of thanks from the father of the motorcycle rider. The note began:
"On behalf of my daughter, who was recently stranded............."
