I got a 1998 suzuki intruder vs800 w/ CA. emission box mounted on the back of the sissy bar does anybody know how to remove it or if it would make the bike run bad if it was removed. thank you

This is the emmisions control box found on California models and others perhaps? Take the two hoses that go to it and plug them into a plastic vacuum T from the auto parts store, leaving the third hole of the T open. Tuck it all away and remove the box from your sissy bar. Ugly box gone...
