I'm not sayin', you shouldn't have that bar-b-q.  And I'm not sayin' you shouldn't enjoy the extra day off.  Nice ridin' weather, calls.  I get that.  What I am askin', is that you do something, to honor those who died for your FREEDOMS.

Memorial Day, isn't just another excuse to party, people.  And it should mean somethin' to ya, even if you never
served, or knew anyone personally who did.

Most of us, here on CycleFish, were raised in a certain ERA.  One in which, we were taught, our moral obligations.
AND THIS...is one of 'em.  And hopefully, you've passed down, what you've been taught, to YOUR children, and grandchildren.  Because, it's when we forget why this country is, as great as it is, and when we turn our backs on our duty to honor, that which is right, we've also turned our backs on God, and Country.  And then collapse of everything you now hold dear, is just that much closer.

Whether, you are spiritual, or not, it is important, to the backbone of society, THIS SOCIETY, that we hold to our "beliefs".  So, even if you don't subscribe to a "higher power", there is still somethin' that grabs you, right?
And it is my belief, that most, if not all of you, SUPPORT OUR TROOPS!

So, please, all I'm askin', is that you take a few moments, to remember, those who gave all!

    Nice post Tweek,
To little of todays youth and citizensdo not realize what Memorial day and Veterans Day actually stand for.
I am so glad that our troops today are receiving support and respect that they deserve. When we came back from or did not come back from SE Asia, there was very little respect and support for us vets.
You do not have to agree with the country's policies, but our troops do what is expected of them.
    Show them that we care.
