I HAVE A 88 SOFTTAIL CUSTOM AND I HAVE REPLACED THE BATTERY, COMPLETE IGNITION SYSTEM(COIL, ROTOR,SENSOR, AND IGNITION SWITCH) and after riding for a few miniutes the bike cuts out. then it will start again run for a few seconds and cut out again. does anybody have any suggestions?

I forgot to mention, it is a1988 with 80 cubic inch engine.

When it cuts out does it stop like someone shut off the ignition, or does it sputter to a stop?
If you rev it a bit bringing the RPMs up to around 3 or 4k will it run for a longer or shorter time?

look for a collapsed or plugged vacuum line.
