Riding the Sip for a Soldier is dedicated to helping raise funds to assist our veterans with immediate small needs. All proceeds will go to the Veterans Appreciation Committee of Meridian.
This passport run will run from July 4- November 2, 2026. There are 11 stops all across the state of Mississippi and you have 17 weeks to complete it. You can do the run in any order that you choose to do. In the passport booklet that you receive there will be a page for each stop and a place to have that page stamped. A member of that stop will stamp your book, and answer any questions you might have about their establishment. Along with the page, we've given you a list of suggestive places to visit while you're in the area. So, you could make it a day or a weekend to getaway, have a place to ride to, a purpose to be riding to support our veterans, and meeting really cool people along the way.
The first person to complete the run on 2-3 wheels will receive $250 in cash donated by the director of the VAC, Patrick Kirby, himself.
For every person who completes the run on 2-3 wheels, sends driftersdestination@outlook.com a photo of them and a staff member from their last stop along with their name and contact info will have their name placed in a drawing for many great prizes given by the sponsors. The drawing will take place at our annual Veterans Day Poker Run on November 7, 2026.
