  • Come and join Forgotten Soldiers Outreach on our 4th Annual Forgotten Soldiers Outreach Poker Run hosted and presented by The Moose Lodge 994 and MFC MC and sponsored by The Nam Knights MC and South Florida Gastroenterology. We are going to have another awesome poker run to help Forgotten Soldiers Outreach send out our “We Care” packages to men and women deployed overseas that receive little to no support from the home front.

All proceeds from the poker run will benefit Forgotten Soldiers Outreach. We are a non for profit (501(c)(3) & tax exempt) organization. Our mission is to send out “We Care” packages to the troops that are deployed overseas. Our recipients are registered on our list because they have little to no support from the home front. Our “We Care” packages boost their morale. We receive thank you letters from our recipients saying that our packages are like opening Christmas presents every month. We have just completed our 13th year of service to our troops.

You will be starting at the Moose Lodge #994 (4844 Bowman Street, Greenacres). Here you will be signing your waiver and receiving your sheet to start the ride. The hands are as follows: 1 hand will be $15 or 3 hands for $25. All riders and passengers will be required to minimally purchase 1 hand at $15 and sign the waiver to participate in the poker run. You will then go over to Hurricane Grill & Wings (4075 State Road 7, Wellington). You will then travel over to Gator’s Shack (5088 Seminole Pratt Whitney Rd, Loxahatchee). From there you will go to Crazy Horse Saloon (4240 Northlake Blvd., Palm Beach Gardens). Then you will go to Duggan’s Pub & Grill (4931 Okeechobee Blvd, West Palm Beach). You will then finish up back at The Moose Lodge 994 in Greenacres. All of these fine establishments will have refreshments and food. We would like for you to visit all these stops on the poker run. Remember that if you miss a stop, you can always pull the card for that stop at The Moose Lodge in Greenacres. When you come back to The Moose Lodge in Greenacres, you will have the opportunity, for $2, to change out on card in your hand.

With your purchase of your hand, the first 100 riders and passengers will receive a swag bag full of goodies. We will be giving out prizes to the winners for the best hand, second best and third best…..EVEN the worst hand of all the participants will receive a prize.

The Moose Lodge in Greenacres will be offering their facility from 9am to 11am for breakfast (breakfast sandwich with coffee for $4 and Bloody Mary’s for $2). Lunch will start around noon and they will be serving hot dogs for $4, burgers for $5 and pulled pork or sausage and peppers for $6…all to include 2 sides and a dessert. All day festivities at the Moose will include a band, George the Leatherman, a DJ on the inside, raffles, 50/50 raffles, adult beverages and food. Everyone is welcomed to participate on the ride (cars and motorcycles) or if you want to just stay at the Moose Lodge (Greenacres) all day, you can still purchase hands there as well and enjoy the festivities.
