This fund was established in 1983 by the Westminster Firefighters and is governed by a seven member board. The main purpose of this Fund is to provide immediate financial relief to Westminster citizens that are displaced from their homes due to fire. The charity enables the Westminster fire fighters to hand over a check on the spot to help displaced families. If all that you have at the moment is the clothes that you are wearing, this is a big help! It enables families to secure a room for the night, clothes, food and other basic necessities while other assistance comes through.
