On Saturday, October 6, 2018, American Legion Riders Chapter 57 will host our Annual Smokin' Family BBQ and Classic Car Show to benefit Hooked on Heroes. This event will be held at American Legion Post 57 in Lake City. FL.

Hooked on Heroes is a local 501(c)3 organization that takes Veterans out deep sea fishing at no cost to the Veteran. North Florida Charter Captains donate their time and boats but each Veteran is supplied with all gear, tackle and refreshments for their day out fishing. It costs Hooked on Heroes approximately $100 per Veteran per trip.

This year's BBQ will feature BBQ Ribs or Rib tips, macaroni salad, baked beans, rolls and dessert. Cost for the meal is $8 for advance tickets or $10 the day of the event. The Classic Car show will have four trophies, 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Peoples Choice and there is no fee for the car show. Entertainment will be provided by DJ Marco Polo and we will have full bar, 50/50 drawings, raffles auctions and much more. This is an "OPEN TO THE PUBLIC" event so please tell all your family and friends.
