The Friends of DeKalb Animal Shelter are excited to host our first Hogs for Dogs Poker Run on Saturday, October 10th. The Poker Run will begin and end at Twisted Oaks Bar & Grill in Smithville, TN (with stops at Longbranch Recreation Area at Center Hill Dam, Short Mountain Distillery and Cowboy Up Bar. The advance ticket price (through September 20th on Eventbrite) is $20 for each rider or passenger. This includes one poker hand, T-shirt, and BBQ after the event.

Tickets can also be purchased the day of the ride for $20, but will not include a T-shirt.
There will be a payout for the three BEST hands and a door prize for the WORST hand.
Additional activities at Twisted Oaks:
* Cat and Dog Adoption Event
* Silent Auction (items include a CHL chalet, a pontoon rental, Nashville Zoo tickets)
* 50/50 raffle and door prizes
Registration will begin at 11:00 am with kickstands up at 12:30 pm.

All proceeds benefit animals through the Friends of DeKalb Animal Shelter, a 501c3 animal advocacy organization. The Friends of DeKalb Animal Shelter is a non-profit organization founded in 2020 to support the DeKalb Animal Shelter by assisting with the cost of spaying, neutering and other medical bills.
