Event Desc

  • This ride will be escorted by Lake County Sheriff's Office. Starts at the Lake Square Mall and ends at Gator Harley-Davidson. There will be a ceremony, food, vendors, full bar and live entertainment.

The Central Florida Wounded Vet Run is much more than a motorcycle event. It is not like other wounded veteran support organizations; it is LOCAL people helping LOCAL heroes. They work with community businesses and cultivating friendships with their honoree(s) so that they can better serve them. Every year Central Florida’s Wounded Vet Run will be dedicated to different disabled veterans.

Proceeds raised go towards housing modifications, recreational objects, cars, basic living items, and other things that help improve the quality of life for a wounded war hero. Money raised in the name of this organization benefits selected wounded veterans and/or charities of their choosing.

This year's honoree is Purple Heart Recipient: Sgt Robert Cockcroft (Army).

The event is supported by the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association, FL Chapter 20-4; a 501c19 Non-Profit Veteran Organization.
