The American Legion Riders (ALR) of Post 313 are calling for donations of bicycles,
up to 20 inches tall, for Head Start children. Last year, over 200 children in Fayette
County alone went without a bicycle for Christmas, which is simply unacceptable. To
make a difference, the ALR of Post 313 is partnering with the Community Action
Council to host a bike drive, "Bikes from Bikers."
We’re asking individuals to donate new bicycles, which will be delivered to the
Community Action Council and distributed to Head Start children and families. Our
goal for 2024 is to collect 200 new bikes by December 10th, helping to ensure that
every child has a brighter Christmas this year.

can be addressed to the American Legion Riders Post 313.
