A commemorative ride echoing Paul Revere’s legendary midnight ride 250 years ago, rallying patriots and honoring the revolutionary spirit.
The motorcycle route will attempt to retrace Paul Revere’s Midnight Ride from his house in Boston to the Lexington Battle Green, sticking as closely as possible to his historical path while adapting it for a modern ride.
Revere’s ride on April 18, 1775, began in Boston’s North End, crossed the Charles River to Charlestown, and proceeded through Somerville, Medford, and Arlington (then Menotomy) before reaching Lexington.
The goal was to warn Samuel Adams and John Hancock of British troop movements, culminating at the Lexington Green, where the first shots of the Revolutionary War were fired the next morning.
This route will balance historical accuracy with practical considerations for a motorcycle, like road conditions and traffic, while offering a scenic and engaging ride
