The 2026 John Day River Poker Run hosted by Bare Bones Bar in John Day, Or. and sponsored by our local American Warrior Veterans Association (AWVA) will again be on the last weekend of June, 2026. The party starts with all riders gathering Friday the 26th at Bare Bones Bar for a welcome party and a salute to a Fallen Soldier Cart traveling through to Salt Lake City. Saturday Bare Bones Bar will host a breakfast before the blessing and run on Saturday. "Come Ride With Us" Motorcycle Maps will be sponsoring the Bike Blessing the 27th before KSU at 10:30am for the Poker Run. After a beautiful ride through some amazing country along the John Day River you will return back to Bare Bones Bar and turn in your poker hands for your chance to win $500. After the Run enjoy an afternoon of games & awards. There will also be an auction benefiting A.W.V.A. Saturday. Bare Bones Bar will be featuring our favorite band "Got Your Six" Saturday night. Serving Breakfast both Saturday and Sunday. Saturday nights dinner will be a BBQ! Join us back at Bare Bones Bar Sunday morning for coffee and a small breakfast before taking off for your return trip home! Dont miss out on this fun-filled weekend.
