  • Red River Invitational - November 14, 2026
    The Oklahoma vs. Texas rivalry is heating up and we are stoking the fire with a chili throw-down!!!
    Come taste some of the best chili chef's concoctions between two states or if you want to join the fun and with a Chili Recipe tasty enough to win, prove it. There is no Registration fee.

    6 awards will be handed out for the Local 1st, 2nd, People's Choice and Best of show.
    Pre Registered Competitors will need to be there at 7am
    Draw for spots 7:15
    Set up around 7:30
    Cooking begins at 8am
    Judges Samples collected 11:30
    Tasting and voting starts at 12p
    Winners announced at 2pm
    - WE DO NOT FOLLOW THE INTERNATIONAL CHILI SOCIETY RULES

    The rules are simple
    1. Teams must have a minimum of two members.
    2. All chili must be cooked from scratch on site starting at 8:00 a.m. on the day of the competition.
    3. RAW Ground Meat (including Beef, chicken, pork, venison, etc....).
    a. No cubed meat
    4. Finely chopped onions, peppers, and veggies are allowed.
    5. Beans are allowed however, NO other fillers are allowed (i.e. pasta, rice, hominy, or similar ingredients).
    6. No commercial/complete/pre-packaged chili mixes are allowed (i.e. Wolf Brand chili, canned etc..).
    7. Minimum of one 8-quart pots of chili per Team to allow ample product for People’s Choice Tasting. You may make more if desired.
    8. One competition cup of chili will be presented for judging at 12:00 p.m. on the day of the competition (Cup will be provided).
