They both spoke with a very strong brogue accent, and making assumptions about their origins I said, "Hello, are you two girls from Scotland ??" One of them screamed, "It’s WALES you f***ing idiot !" So I immediately apologized and said........ “Sorry, are you two whales from Scotland ?”  I don't remember too much after that !  less

She approached him, smiled and said, "Hello. My name is Carmen." "That's a beautiful name," he replied. "Is it a family name?" "No," she replied. As a matter of fact I gave it to myself. It represents the things that I enjoy the most - cars and men. Therefore I chose "Carmen". "What's your name?" she asked. He answered "B.J. Titsengolf."  less

The squared away Marine guard snaps to attention, Salutes, and says: "Nice pigs, Sir." The President replies: "These are not pigs. These are authentic Arkansas Razorback Hogs. I got one for Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and I got one for Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi." The squared away Marine again snaps to attention, Salutes, and says: "Excellent trade, sir."  less

This is my first forum post, but I need a little encouragement Last year I learned how to ride a motorcycle. I took the MSF course at Harley and did great. Mistakenly, I bought a 1200 Sporster right out of the gate. Of course, being a newby, I had issues like dropping the bike (4 times!!) and losing my nerve. A friend suggested I buy a smaller bike and practice on it before I try to handle the Harley. I did and got my practice in and then stepped up to the 'big girl'. At the end of the season, I was getting better and better. I was riding long distances with groups and going pretty well. I was still having issues though with stopping. I just couldn't get steady and was nervous everytime I got to a stop light. I'm not sure my problem is but I'm pretty sure it has to do with my history of dropping the bike. I'm just so afraid I'm going to keep doing it. Well to make a long story short, it's the new season and even though I'm very excited...    less

  • Message irish- told our clan were gypsys and thieves. No castle or family crest. just a great family!! Son and Daughter to be 27 and 26. Enjoyed Horseback riding in Montana last summer- real City Slickers We were. Great Wife who likes to ride with me on my bike for day trips. I have a great group of guys who do the long stuff and rallies. Work with the Joe Andruzzi foundation helping families dealing with cancer. We were all at the Forum Restaurant Boston The day of the Bombing With the Andruzzi Foundation, We had 27 runners on our team. Did all we could to help people. Made the need for Volunteerism so much more important to me. My daughter and her Boyfriend will be running the Marathon this year. So far we have 47 runners on our team. I am in the process of planning something Motorcycle related- Stay tuned

I lived in Arkansas during the Clinton years as Gov. There was a great bar called "Slick Willy's" in little rock. How ever this joke is funny and true!

Everyone drops every now and then. My last time I was trying to back out if a spray and wash and my foot slipped on the wet surface. Should have planned my exit better. Shoe soles do matter as well as experience. I went from a 750 triumph trident to a road king 300 lbs different. Took a little getting use to. Called my son and the neighbor a few times for help. Experience will help your planning and the riding anxiety level will turn into smiles. Hang in there.
