PB Blaster has worked great for me. It's readily available also.
I have a question about this 50/50 home brew, does the lacquer thinner evaporate thus changing the mix or does the trans fluid somehow prevent this? I guess you could mix only the amount needed at any given time. Just wondering. Thanks
I think if you have it in a sealed container it should be fine... just like storing the lacqyuer thinner not mixed.

Just make sure the container is plastic, I use a cheap spray bottle.
I mix mine and store it in a used 1 qt Lucas Power steering stop leak bottle. When I plan to use it I shake it up to mix thoroughly and fill this pump oiler. If I keep it in the oiler it tends to siphon out. It will seperate when setting.
