The Wizard of Oz Today….
Admit it, everyone has wondered, at one time or another, what happened after Dorthy returned to Kansas………Well,
Dorothy married the Scarecrow.
They had six Children: Stalk, Kernel, Ear, Silk, Shuck, and Cob.
Stalk, Kernel, and Ear decided to remain in Kansas with their parents.
Silk, Shuck, and Cob returned to live in Oz where they have farms and grow wheat and poppies.
The Lion is still King of the Forest and remains single, althought the forest isn’t what it once was. Loggers ya know.
The Haunted Forest has been turned into an amusement park for the kids and the Munchkins.
Tin Man returned to the apple orchard in Oz, where…you guessed it….he got rained on again and rusted solid. Oh yeah,
he has replaced his ax with a top of the line chainsaw. He is waiting for anyone to come along the YB Road to lube him up.
Regretfully, Auntie Em passed away.
Two new witches have taken up residence in Oz, and are really tearing the Munchkins up. Flying monkeys are a constant torment to
Silk, Shuck, and Cob, who are trying hard to purchase some Stinger missles. They say they will deal with the problem, in one way
or another.
The Wizard has gone into semi-retirement and he now has an apprentice. He traded in his horse cart and now drives around Oz
in a fully equiped motor coach with a VT1300CS on the back (sorry all, but I’m writing this 
). He also has a lear jet parked at the
private airstrip next to his condo. The balloon just wasn’t cutting it any longer.
He has decided to remodel Emerald City.
The Emerald City guards have been replaced by a platoon of Swiss Guards. The uniform is camo field utilities and they all carry 1911
.45’s and MP5 Assault Rifles. The flying monkeys stay pretty much away from Emerald City.
He hooked up with the good witch of the North. They are living in a huge condo in the poppy field just outside Emerald City.
The Horse of a Different Color, with age, now pretty much stays a shade of gray (unless you piss him off!).
Over-flights of Emerald City on broomsticks have been banned. Arrival by Lear Jet and big bubbles is still allowed.
And last, but not least for this update, the Mayor of Munchkin Land has let slip that a remake of the origional movie is in the works. It will be in color AND 3D!
Soooooo…..We’re Off To See The Wizard, The Wonderful Wizard of Ozzzzzz!
