I have a friend with a prosthetic right arm and he just bought an '06 Honda CRF450X.  He's already got a Rekluse clutch so we just need a solution for the throttle. People have sugested that I simply move the existing throttle tube to the left side and switch the cables around.  The cable can't be swapped because they are different sizes.  Others have suggested that we go to a thumb throttle but he wants to stay with a twist if possible. Any help would be appreciated.  less

How's it working out? Did you ever put a swivel hitch on the trailer tongue?

I have a 2008 DRZ400sm that I need to extend the seat further back.

I am thinking of extending the pan so it mounts on top of the tool bag mounts on the front of the luggage rack. Because this is higher than the stock pan I am thinking of going with a slightly stepped seat.

What you want is a hidden twist clutch - Exilecycles.com

It was originally designed to clear the bar of the clutch lever and puts the cable inside the handlebar. Action is the same, clutch or throttle. Same --- hope this helps

Whatever you do, MAKE SURE you have a swivel hitch. A standard setup will limit your lean angle and can cause other issues. A swivel hitch allows full lean of your machine without the trailer causing an issue for you, not to mention if your trailer takes a hard enough hit to only one tire, that can cause the trailer to get airborn and you have the potential for it to try to filp over. Without a swivel hitch, a trailer attempting to flip over has more than a significant chance of putting you down.

here's a VERY bad video of some twisties in California... (she was in a tuner car we passed and was trying to capture the sparks off my wing in the turns)
