  • Message Founded in 2020 and formally know as the Whitley County Motorcycle Group (WCMG) The Appalachian Motorcycle Group (AMG) is a Motorcycle Riding Group and Community located in Eastern Kentucky. Our all "All Volunteer" Group is directly responsible for "Bringing the Bikes" and the Motorcycle Culture to the Central Appalachian Region and Economic Relief to our Small Forgotten Coal Communities across our mountains here! Our Mission is and has always been to create and develop the absolute best rides, routes and motorcycle events our region has to offer and we do it all absolutely Free! Through our ever expanding riding community and our relationships with our partners in he motorcycle world, we have created something truly unique designed to help our people prosper again here in the "Last Unexplored Frontier on the East Coast"! In short we are replacing the loss of the Coal Industry, which left us here over 25 years ago, with Motorcycle Tourism across Eastern Kentucky, West Virginia, Southwest Virginia, Northeast Tennessee, and now Southern Ohio, and Western North Carolina! Coal may have left us but we have the best roads to ride anywhere in the U.S. and a group to assist all who come here so that our visitors will have the best experience possible all straight from the Local Riders who live here in our neck of the woods! We are a public "All Volunteer, Group comprised of members and supporters from the local area as well as around the world. All of our events are for charity and to promote the "Best Riding in the U.S.! Period!" which includes our "Uniquely Appalachian" Points of Interest, Our Local Small Businesses, Our Culture, our People, and of course our incredible riding! Everyone is welcome to join us regardless of what other groups you belong to or what you Ride! We are a true riding community and with over 45,000 Miles of Riding, 100,000 miles of Driving, 180+ Charity Rides and Events, 18 National Rallys, and more custom GPS-Enabled routes than you can shake a stick at, we you can just about guarantee that your visit here will be one Ride to remember and with a level of acceptance as you visit our remote areas and small towns that you have never experienced riding a Motorcycle anywhere! Everyone is welcome here and we even have Slingshots in our Group! We are "Bikers for a Better Appalachia" and we are on a mission to show the world that we have do have the "Best Riding in the U.S. Period!" and we are here to prove it.
