  My Switchback

  I have a vibration issue.  From day one.  It got worse from no miles to a thousand miles when I took it in for service and had to have the front motor mount (isolator) replaced.  It made a difference for awhile but after two weeks ridinng...  moreI have a vibration issue.  From day one.  It got worse from no miles to a thousand miles when I took it in for service and had to have the front motor mount (isolator) replaced.  It made a difference for awhile but after two weeks ridinng Alabama's Gulf coast and beautiful interior roads it seems to be getting bad again.   I'm pissed.  Riding back to Ohio kept me on edge wonderingn if the thing was going to fall apart underneath me.  Yes, I visited a couple dealers during the trip but ya can't get them to admit anything is wrong.   I'm gonna have to force somebody's hand when all is said and done.  I'm pretty sure this bike has to go.   Peace  less

List a city that starts with the next letter in the alphabet.  When we get to "Z" we start back at "A".   One thing after another

  Nothing  has changed.  I still have my SB and my WG for sale.  After getting my WG ready to ride a month ago I just now took it out for a spin before I would put it out for sale.  Returning home I visited the neighbor for a...  moreNothing  has changed.  I still have my SB and my WG for sale.  After getting my WG ready to ride a month ago I just now took it out for a spin before I would put it out for sale.  Returning home I visited the neighbor for a couple of hours.  On a whim I decided to check the oil in my WG only to discover there's gas in the oil.   So, I drain the oil, blow through the blow-by vacumn tube and it's not clear.  Somthing isn't happening in the carb.  Great!!!  Probably an easy fix but as I proceeded to remove the carb cover the dang bolt just turns and turns and turns and turns, only coming out so far but naturally not far enough to remove the carb cover.  So now what?   I put a pair of vice grips on the hex bolt, turning and pulling at the same time.  Nope, she's not coming out.  And there ya go; a simple task turning into a freakin' real chore.  And of course I'm an impatient...    less
