  It's kinda funny, the wave thing. Thirty years ago or so the road was a lonely place for bikers so when you came upon a biker you acknowleged each others ride by a wave because only he and you knew you were doing something special. Now with so many of us out there you gotta admit you're still doing something special and the wave is a sweet reminder.

  'wear the usual, jeans, boots, gloves, helmet. Leather jacket for winter, sometimes a vest, but I live in Nevada so it depends on those 100+ temps in the summer.

  never been much of a pack rider. I'm a bit of a loner so naturally I prefer to ride alone. Ocassionally will ride with one good buddy, but that's rare. A nod to those group riders out there, thumbs up if I see ya on the road.

  looks like an '89 or '90 Honda NT 650 Hawk. Try this link http://www.nt650.com/Links.html and there's always CYCLE-RE-CYCLE online for parts. Hope this helps.
