    New tires
Im looking for a new tire for the rear of my Kaw ninja, she is a 250, and the tire that is on her now is stock. I need some sugestions. What kind of mileage should I get? I got about 3500 out of the stock tire. I do push kinda hard, and like something...  moreIm looking for a new tire for the rear of my Kaw ninja, she is a 250, and the tire that is on her now is stock. I need some sugestions. About 90% of the time we end up picking places to eat or stay that are awesome! Sometimes not so awesome... I thought it would be a fun winter past time to share a few and maybe get some ride ideas from others experiences. Last summer Terri and I did a two week two laner exploration of Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, and SD. I may not be spot on with the names, but close... The Bonefish in Kennewick is awesome, and they had a little beer garden type thing out front with an old hippy playing accoustic guitar and sining old Jonny Cash tunes. Not what I would call a biker place, but we seemed to fit in. The yuppies all stared at the hog... they had some kind of saute'd scallops that were phenominal! There's a total dive tavern on the way out of Lewiston ID I think its called the antique tavern. Like stepping back in time. Reminded me of a hole you would find on Route 66. HUGE burgers and cold beer. Great place to ditch the helmet! There's a roadside...    less

You all have some great places, my fav place is a rock along the river. Grap a couple of cold beer stick em in the cooler on the scoot and head about 4 miles from home. I can pull the bike down close to the river, just sit and watch/listen to the water flow by! I unwind 4days a week there in the summer! LOL Guess I need to get out more! lol

In wv you must wear a helmet! Not that I always do, but it is required, have been lucky, only caught 3 times without it. I feel that it should be a choice. When I do wear a helmet it is DOT! .. I would not let my son ride without one on! If we are someplace and he decides to ride home with me he wears my helmet.

Glad something good can from your misfortune. Webby, Thanks for putting all that stuff up there. I wanted to change bars on my sporty. Had no idea what I was getting into. I was told to extend the wires and cables. New grips, cables brake, clutch and throddle. and a lot more than I anticipated. Now I know how to solder wires (18 x2 if I remember right) measure cables and brake lines correctly and can do it again anytime I like! Love workin on my own scoot!
