For those that have done this, what legal hoops if any are there and what needs to be done to make the process smooth? Acquiring police escorts, the process for that.  It's obvious that I have never put together a ride but there aren't many in my area that I have found. I would like to ride for a cause! Between cancer charities, the humane society, and children's needs I'm sure I can find a reason to get people together to ride here! Any help would be appreciated! I'm trying to get an employee group together where I work to be a part of it all also.  less

For those that have done this, what legal hoops if any are there and what needs to be done to make the process smooth?   female learning to ride by herself

  so here it goes. Got the bike up and going and well the boyfriend is no longer in the picture (left way before the bike was ready). So took it out on the side roads -- nervous as can be (found out that isn't cool on handleing the bike so had to keep...  moreso here it goes. Got the bike up and going and well the boyfriend is no longer in the picture (left way before the bike was ready). So took it out on the side roads -- nervous as can be (found out that isn't cool on handleing the bike so had to keep telling myself to relax -- helped until got into s bit of traffic). A person I met took me to the school to practice and was totally different and more relaxed. Problem is I don't have that opportunity very often so it's on my own basically. YES I will be doing the riders safety course WHEN I can afford to but right now out of the picture. So how did you learn on your own and not be so scared of everything?!?!  less
