  • Message My husband bought me a 2002 Sportster last year for my birthday. Learning to ride again has been so much fun. I have 2 sons that inherited bikes my husband had when we met a 81 Sturgis, 84 Sportster. He has a 2002 Softail Classic. It is a wonderful way to spend time together and keep the family together - riding together. Update: May 2015, I purchased my own 2011 Deluxe. I love riding! I try to ride as much as possible, weather permitting I ride to work as often as possible and we all still ride as a family as much as possible. Having a great time!
