You were right, let her know who's boss, when she leaves the house put your feet on the table............

Just make sure you wipe it down before she comes home.

It's a case of  you're right when you're wrong. There was no correct scenario there.

if it was me i would of showed her how to do it that tell her she will be able to to it herself next time any time she wants than when she got back from shopping hand her a towel and ask her to finish the bike.

It's probobly more of a no win situation. She should understand that drying the bike has a certain window or the process needs to be repeated and as long as you put the seat in the car after your done (promptly) that should be ok. However, since were talking about grand kids, shouldnt you two have learned by now, haha.

From this woman's point of view--I just don't understand why she couldn't put the car seat in herself?

You should have hosed her down cause nothing you were going to do was going to be acceptable. and by the time she got changed the bike would be spotless .the car seat in the car and you depending on speed 2 to 3 miles away before she got done.

Hey Flatlander - LOVE your profile pic. Where was it taken?

RandyJoe - so did the "delay" cost you more money cuz you pis'd your wife off making her wait? LOL! Seriously, the car seat would have waited for me too. Right choice in my book.

She should know by now the short time you have to dry the sled. If she's so damn selfish that it's "me first", there are some issues that need to be resolved. Sometimes you have to make minor adjustments in life. Like a new ole lady.

We have a saying here in Australia and it goes like this.
YOUR ALWAYS IN THE BROWN STICKY STUFF.
IT JUST DEPENDS HOW DEEP IT IS ON ANY GIVEN DAY.

For what its worth. The bike comes first hang the consequence...
Is your dog house large enough?????
