I live in North Carolina and I have been riding my bike off and on now for several months. I got her in Sept of ' 12.  I have rode as a passenger on various bikes, but I recently got tired of just being one. I wanted to enjoy the experience of being one with the wild and not just see the back of my boyfriends head! lol The only thing that hinders me at the moment is the weather (too cold or rainy) and I am still a little fearful.  I have laid my bike down due to slipping in massive dirt, leaves, or gravel.  I was anxious to ride in the beginning and got right on the road after learning for a day or two. I want to make sure that I go back now and learn counter steering, riding slowly, and hopefully build my confidence up.   less

  The ER called

  I spent the last 3 days in the hospital.  went in at 10 p.m. New Year's Eve.  Chest pains akin to what I had in 05 prior to my open-heart.  Went through a mass of tests and my heart, amazingly enough, is still good to go.  Turns...  moreI spent the last 3 days in the hospital.  went in at 10 p.m. New Year's Eve.  Chest pains akin to what I had in 05 prior to my open-heart.  Went through a mass of tests and my heart, amazingly enough, is still good to go.  Turns out I have emphysema; treatable and not likely to get any worse.  That's good cause I don't wanna haul an O2 bottle around on the motorcycle.  So, I'm late but Happy New year.......

  Vintage riders?

   Looking for any vintage bike riders in my area or wherever. I ride a custom built 37 Indian named Dirty Gurl. Never been washed. Never will be. She's been across the country twice and begging for more. Glad to be on the site.
